Tea is served with a selection of finger sandwiches, assortment of freshly home baked cakes and traditional cream teas.
The Pearces also pride themselves on providing the best quality cup of coffee. The beans are supplied by Paddy & Scott's, the Suffolk gourmet coffee producers. The different options like espresso, americano and cappuccino are carefully prepared and presented and have an exceptional taste.
Contemporary in style, the Café has been built to eco-specification and has a relaxed atmosphere with light and space from the floor to ceiling glass and rustic chic with sophisticated cream and greens, sustainable solid oak beams, tables and chairs. As well as ample seating inside, the landscaped patio area overlooking the fields offers the opportunity to sit out in fine weather.
David Pearce, said: "Our family have been farming here for 45 years growing horticultural and arable crops, as well as rearing beef cattle. We started to sell our own fruit and veg from a shed in the field in 1982 and have successfully built up our Farmshop providing fresh produce and fine foods chosen for their originality and high quality. We had been exploring ideas to diversify for a while and with our stunning location, our passion for seasonal, quality food and the numerous requests from customers, a café seemed a natural solution. We are delighted that it has been so well received."
