Danbury Country Park is situated only 4 miles from Chelmsford. It is set in the gardens and old deer park of Danbury Palace and offers a blend of walled garden, lakes and woodland. The site offers a site for quiet recreation. Fishing is available on the bottom lake and there are several short walks which are way marked around the site.

From the A12, take the A414 towards Maldon. Continue into Danbury and take the right turn at the mini roundabout onto Well Lane. Continue to the end of the road and turn right onto Woodhill Road.
