The Coach House is situated on the outskirts of the village of Holton St Mary, adjacent to 'Constable County', Flatford Mill and Dedham. The wide skies and riverside meadows, which characterized Constable's work are available for you to explore with marked footpaths along the river Stour through Dedham Vale. We are also ideally situated for touring the East Anglian villages and traditional market towns, such as Sudbury (birthplace of Thomas Gainsborough), Hadleigh, Lavenham and Long Melford. Situated on the Essex/Suffolk border also makes the historic towns and villages of North Essex easily accessible. London is just over an hour away by train from Manningtree or Colchester and Harwich only 16 miles away.

The Coach House accommodation is separate from the main house, situated on the first floor over the garage block. There are large gardens part of which are available to guests, with garden furniture provided. As an outside staircase accesses the Coach House apartment it is not suitable for people with disabilities or young children.

The property is comfortably furnished, spacious, of high quality throughout and fully centrally heated. Suitable for four people, it includes entrance hall, fully fitted kitchen, lounge/diner with colour TV and DVD, main bedroom, second bedroom with twin beds and fitted wardrobe, tiled bathroom bath/shower, basin and WC. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included in the rental. Full facilities for laundry are provided.

Strictly non-smoking.

Pets are welcome at the Coach House subject to prior agreement.

Children welcome from any age.
