County School StationCounty School Station

Although no trains run from the platforms the station building and tea room is open on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from Easter to September. The station is set to show how it would have been during WW2 years and aims to show visitors how local the railways contributed to the War Effort. There is also a display of items relating to the former Watt's Naval Training School, which the station was built to serve. The station grounds include picnic areas, a large wild flower meadow and footpaths, and are open all year round. There is also an orchard containing several varieties of rare local fruit trees.
