Group Visits at Oliver Cromwell's HouseGroup Visits at Oliver Cromwell's House

Visit the former Lord Protector's family home. Experience what domestic life would have been like in the
17th C. - with re-created period rooms, as well as an exhibition detailing the Civil War. Visit Mrs Cromwell's kitchen and learn about her love for cooking with eels. See how the family spent their leisure time, and venture into the haunted bedroom to hear about Cromwell's dramatic death (if you dare!).

This beautiful house offers a full range of packages to groups, including guided tours with costumed guides. As it also houses the city's Tourist Information Centre, combination tours with the magnificent Ely Cathedral and other key attractions can be arranged - including boat cruises, walking and ghost tours. An atmospheric small function room located in the original Tithe Office at Oliver Cromwell's House is available to hire for refreshments or gatherings to complete your visit.
