Day Boat Hire
Discover the newest member of the National Park Family on board a Herbert Woods Day Boat. Our Day Boats are easy to operate and can seat up to 8 people. They are perfect for touring the Broads, a spot of fishing or a secluded picnic. Available from March to October for 1-8 hrs.
Canoe Hire
Alternatively explore the tributaries and backwaters of the Broads that cannot be accessed by Cruiser or Day Boat. Paddling silently through the undisturbed waters of the National Park is a great way to view the beautiful wildlife of the Broads. Our Canadian Canoes seat up to 3 people.

Lifejackets are provided and are compulsory for children under 16. Groups of children under the age of 10 years must be accompanied by at least 2 adults. We do not accept lone sailors.

By Road:
Join A47 towards Great Yarmouth. At the Acle bypass take the A1064 towards Caister/Hemsby. Take a left for B1152 towards Martham/North Walsham. Turn left onto the A149, go past the Q8 garage, take the second left following sign, 'river and boatyards'. Go over Potter Heigham old bridge. Herbert Woods is on the left.
