Halesworth & District Museum
Housed in the Victorian railway station, this entirely volunteer-run museum explores the history of the Halesworth area, with focuses on prehistory, the Romans, the Medieval town and later trade, agriculture and industry, in particular the town's malting and brewing industry. There is a special emphasis on local military history.
A study corner contains researchmaterials for anyone interested in exploring more deeply local social or family history.
Group visits can be arranged with the Curator.
