The Halesworth Town Trail provides an ideal opportunity to explore the town and discover it’s interesting past including the 15th century Saxon church and the town park. The town park also links through to Halesworth’s Millennium Green, the largest single Millennium green in the country. Stretching along the banks of the River Blyth, it is a haven for wildlife and flowers and provides two circular walks of up to two miles.
The pedestrianised Thoroughfare provides an authentic market town shopping experience, centred around independent shops, continuing through to the market place, where the weekly market blends the old with the new. Halesworth is a haven for food lovers, with an abundance of fresh local produce and fine restaurants. The Halesworth Produce Market, which takes place on the second Saturday of the month, displays some of the finest foods from around the region. To complement your food, why not try a glass of local wine from Wissett Wines Vineyards, or alternatively take a tour to see how their award winning wine is produced.
