Lowewood Museum

Located in the historic town of Hoddesdon, Lowewood Museum showcases fantastic collections from the borough of Broxbourne including archaeology, social history, costume and art.
A programme of temporary exhibitions and events take place throughout the year in the museum or our delightful garden. Interactives and gallery trails are also available to keep all members of the family entertained.
As well as an interesting calendar of special events throughout the year, the museum offers an extensive programme for both school and adult groups. Resources for schools include history workshops, which can take place in the museum or in your school, and topic boxes for hire. Reminiscence boxes are also available for residential care homes and community groups, as well as talks and gallery tours for interested groups.
