Searles Seatours offers the most unique sea trips in the country.
The choice of 5 trips take place on one of three vessels; the most notorious of which being the ‘Wash Monster’, a massive amphibious vessel first used as a landing craft in the Vietnam conflict. Capable of seating 60 people the ‘Wash Monster’ gives customers the opportunity to drive down Hunstanton beach into the Wash and out to the sandbanks to explore this unique environment, on the way taking in the spectacular views of Hunstanton, the cliffs and lighthouse.
The most popular tour is to Seal Island, and with The Wash having the largest population of common seals in the world it is no surprise, Customers boarding ‘The Sealion’, the first 60 seater MSA approved twin hulled sea going passenger vessel have the opportunity to see 100 - 500 common seals relaxing in their natural habitat, cameras are a must as this is a superb opportunity for customers to get some great shots of these beautiful mammals resting on the sandbanks.
