Educational Visits at The Raptor Foundation

Come and stroll around the 300 birds and 41 different species at the Foundation. Birds are kept in spacious surroundings with three daily flying displays - that cover topics of habitat, conservation and the birds part in the environment. Talks are tailored to ages of the children, guided tours, pellet disection and observational drawing are all on offer. The centre provides a wealth of rare and unusual experiences to offer children a day
they will never forget.
OPENING TIMES: All year, daily. Summer 1000-1700, Winter 1000-1600.
SUGGESTED LENGTH OF VISIT: 4 hours.
EDUCATIONAL VISIT FACILITIES:
Free preliminary visit for teacher, teacher and pupil resource packs, qualified schools guide/specialised education officer on hand, classroom/study area, welcome talk and demonstrations avaliable, guided tours, indoor eating area available, outdoor eating area available.
