Christchurch Mansion
Discover 500 years of history in Christchurch Mansion - a fabulous Tudor house, built on the site of a 12th Century Augustinian Priory, in beautiful parkland in the heart of Ipswich. See period rooms from the 16th through to the 19th century, representing the 350 years this was a family home before it was presented to the Town in the 19th Century to be opened as a museum.
As well as fabulous room settings there are nationally important collections of furniture, delightful collections of toys, and the Wolsey Gallery - which houses the finest collection of works by John Constable and Thomas Gainsborough outside of London.
