Group Visits at Ipswich Transport MuseumGroup Visits at Ipswich Transport Museum

The museum houses a collection of around 100 major exhibits, all of which were made or operated in the Ipswich area, including an electric tram, trolleybuses and fire engines. The Ipswich Engineering Collection includes cranes, models and lawnmowers. There are beautifully restored buses and coaches, many of which you can board to see their fine interiors. Guided tours are avaiable.

OPENING TIMES: Sundays - 20 March to 27 November. Contact for times.
SUGGESTED LENGTH OF VISIT: 2 to 2½ hours.

Free preliminary visit for group organiser, coach parking on site, coach drop off/pick up point, coach driver concessions and facilities, guided group tours, evening visits by arrangement, toilets, shop, cafe/restaurant, wheelchair access.

A14 jct 57, nearside lane of slip road, head towards town centre. At large roundabout take 2nd exit, pass Esso station on right. At keep left bollard turn right into Lindbergh Road, becomes Cobham Road. Museum is on the left.
