NWT East Winch Common
What to look for: Spring/summer - blackcap. Cross-leaved heath, purple moor grass, marsh gentian, southern marsh orchid, cotton grass, sneezewort, bog pimpernel, water St John's wort, eyebright and tormentil. Dragonfly and damselfly. Autumn/winter - sphagnum mosses. Year round - willow tit and linnet.
Facilities: Information board and way-marked trail.
Directions: NWT East Winch Common is 8km east of King's Lynn on the A47. At East Winch crossroads, turn south to Pentney Lakes. The car park is immediately on the right.
Access: Parking is in the north west corner of the common. Cross the road from the car park and the entrance gate is a few metres south.
