National Gardens Scheme

  

The National Gardens Scheme have highlighted new 2010 garden Dale Farm on the front cover of this years Norfolk Garden Guide. With the regular opening gardens plus nine new wow factor Open Gardens this year, Norfolk is the garden enthusiasts haven. Now is the time to plan your garden design and arrange a visit to one of the many private gardens or commercial gardens, nursery or garden attractions, events with the National Gardens Scheme. Or contact the Norfolk NGS to plan your group garden day out.
The NGS raises money for many worth while causes with the opening of private gardens since 1927. It also donates to many garden related organsations to preserve the heritage of many gardens and gardening skills. It's a great day out for a relatively low price.

With a choice of new private gardens, garden experts and award winning designers, a NGS visit provides a great day out. It can also be a source of information to help you create your garden to the National Gardens Scheme standard.

The NGS support national, nursing, caring and gardening charities with a proportion of some openings going to other charities nominated by the garden owner. Major beneficiaries include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie, Queen's Nursing Institute, National Trust Horticultural Bursaries, Perennial - The Royal Fund for Gardeners' Children, Crossroads and Help the Hospices.
