The Memorial Library occupies 185m2 - with a collection of 4,000 books covering all aspects of American life and culture, with approximately a quarter related to the role of the 2nd Air Division, US 8th Army Air Force in World War II. Shrine area - reflecting its war memorial status, with the 2nd Air Division Roll of Honour which lists the 6,900 Airmen who died in action. A mural, 9m long depicts aspects of the 'Friendly Invasion', and there are models of assembly ships and paintings of aircraft and wartime life, plus an interactive video display.

The Memorial Library is on the ground floor of the Norfolk & Norwich Millennium
Library in The Forum building, situated in the very centre of Norwich on Millennium
Plain (pedestrianised area), between Bethel Street and Theatre Street. You will find us next to City Hall above the market place and opposite the church of St Peter Mancroft.
