Cathedral of St John The Baptist
The Cathedral of St John the Baptist is the second largest Catholic Cathedral in the UK and one of Norwich’s iconic buildings. Its external grandeur and magnificent interior make it well worth a visit for those interested in architectural history. Tours are also available of the tower offering wonderful views over the city and beyond. The visitor centre, the Narthex, includes a
refectory, shop and garden – making it a perfect place to relax and unwind.

By Road:
Follow the A11 into Norwich. Turn left at the inner ring road roundabout (A140) and right into Unthank Road at the next jct (traffic signals). Continue to the end where the Cathedral is on the left.
Bus no 25 (first) from the station forecourt to Unthank Road (Neville Street) stops close to the Cathedral.
Parking : with charge
Accessible by Public Transport : 1 mile (1.6 kms) from Norwich station
Disabled Access – level-access to the Cathedral, the tower is not accessible to all.
