The above forms a permanent display. In addition, every 6 months a temporary exhibition is mounted covering different subjects of more than local interest, generally with a topical slant. There is a display devoted to the Potters Bar Zeppelin, shot down over the town in 1916 and another featuring our Romano-British tile kiln site, where archaeological excavations are made when finances permit.
Also on permanent display is the Potters Bar Roman Coin hoard, found locally and dating from the 1st Century AD.
