Gainsborough's House is the birthplace of Thomas Gainsborough RA (1727-88). An historic house dating back to the 16th C. with an attractive walled garden. The outstanding collection is on display with 18th C. furniture and memorabilia. A varied programme of exhibitions on both historic British and contemporary art.

OPENING TIMES: All year. Monday to Saturday 1000-1700. Closed Sunday, Good Friday and between
Christmas and New Year.
SUGGESTED LENGTH OF VISIT: 1 to 1.5 hours.
