Ware Museum

Exhibits include a roman coffin (with skeleton!) and part of the coverlet from the Great Bed of Ware. Also a medieval well and a World War II Command Bunker with interactive display. Many publications on sale about Ware and Hertfordshire. Tourist information point in museum. A new Gallery (2007) with Malting Model, children's corner and Hitch Brick display, more exhibits to come. Opening hours: Tues, Thurs, Sat 11-5pm. Sun 2-5pm (April to Sept). Closes 4pm in winter (Oct to March).
