Woburn Abbey

Set in a beautiful 3000 acre deer park, Woburn Abbey has been home to the Dukes of Bedford for over 300 years and is currently occupied by the 15th Duke and his family.
Stunning works of art, celebrated as one of the most important private collections in the world includes paintings by Cuyp, Gainsborough, Reynolds and Van Dyck. With a magnificent 24 views of Venice by Canaletto, the famously iconic Armada portrait of Elizabeth I by George Cower hanging in the long gallery and numerous portraits of previous Russell family members.
Touring the Abbey covers three floors, including the vaults with superb examples of 18th century French and English furniture, silver and gold collections, a wide range of English continental and oriental porcelain and many personal items treasured by the Russell family.
