Fitzwilliam Museum

An internationally-renowned collection of European paintings, drawings and prints some fine furniture and sculpture, coins and medals and manuscripts and printed books. The original magnificent buildings, dating from the mid-19thC and the more recent additions, provide a splendid setting, resulting in one of the best museums of its type outside the major cities. There is also a wide-ranging programme of temporary exhibitions, educational events and activities for all ages, details are available on the website.
