Traditional carnival with colourful parade through the town with floats and bands.

This year's theme is Pantomine.

Procession on Saturday 10 August, starting at Beatrice Avenue at 1300, travelling along Hamilton Road, Highfield Road, Orwell Road, Garrison Lane, Undercliff Road West, Sea Road, and ending at Micklegate Road.

Langer Park (opens at 1430 on both Saturday and Sunday) has a children's activity area and entertainment, funfair, food stalls, licensed bar and picnic area. Live music: Saturday night - 'Bouncing off Concrete'. Sunday night - 'Skad4life'.

Fireworks on Sunday evening.

Entry to Langer Park: Saturday - adults £2.00, children £1.00. Sunday - adults £5.00, children £2.00. Accompanied children under 12 free all weekend.
