Chilford scoops Wine of the Year 2010

Chilford Hall Vineyard at Linton in Cambridgeshire is celebrating after its 'Chilford Hundred Sparkling Rose 2004' was awarded the top accolade of Wine of the Year 2010, as well as the Spear Trophy for best sparkling wine and a Gold Medal at the East Anglian Wine Growers Association 2010 Awards. Chilford's 20 acre vineyard is the only commercial vineyard in the county.

Lawson's up for Deli Award

The excellent Lawson's Deli at Aldeburgh in Suffolk has reached the final stages of the Deli of the Year Competition 2010. Through to the last five from more than 400 nominated in the country - the winner will be announced in September. Lawson's specialises in high quality, local and organic produce, and also offer a bespoke meal service using the best of ingredients.
