Explore the seaside on your doorstep
Not only is visiting the seaside a rewarding experience, it's also better for the environment.
We've done the sums and you'll be amazed by these stats.
A return flight from Stansted to Malaga emits 562,800 kg CO2 = 0.56 tonnes CO2e. Whereas a return car journey from London to the Norfolk coast emits 49,245 kg Co2 = 0.049 tonnes Co2e.
So, a flight to Malaga produces almost 12 times more carbon dioxide emissions than driving to the magnificent Norfolk coast.
