A once-in-a-lifetime experience in the eastern region - not to be missed!

This is Colchester Castle Museum's most stunning exhibition to date (Saturday 19 July to Sunday 2 November) - with 43 miniature terracotta figurines from the Chinese Han Dynasty. This is only the second time these figures have ever been out of China and their very first visit to the UK.

The figures from Xuzhou Museum in Jiangsu Province China are 2,000 years old, and represent soldiers, dancers, musicians and cavalry horses. Working in partnership with Essex County Council - Colchester and Ipswich Museum Service is delighted to be hosting this exhibition.
