Feeding in Animals
Venue: Central Museum
A look at processes of the natural world including food chains. This session uses specimens from the museum collections not usually available to schools or on display, especially skulls and teeth.
National Curriculum: KS2 (science) - Life processes and living things
Time Required: Up to 36 children 2 hours
Cost: £2.50 per child Teachers and helpers free
The main activity is a group of about 15 having a talk and handling session approx. 35 minutes in duration using selected specimens from our collections in our school room. Whilst this is going on any groups waiting their turn will be downstairs in the main hall using prepared work sheets on our Natural History displays.
