RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve
Get closer to nature at RSPB Minsmere. Each season brings its own delights. Watch dragonflies dart above the ponds in summer, spot a majestic red deer in the woods in autumn, witness hundreds of ducks on the marshes in winter or listen to the melodic notes of a nightingale singing in spring.
Our volunteer guides will help you to discover more, perhaps you prefer to simply stroll around the beautiful RSPB countryside walks, enjoying the stunning scenery. There's a choice of walks to suit all abilities, with many of the paths wheelchair and pushchair friendly.
In the visitor centre you can relax in the tearoom with a selection of locally sourced, homemade hot and cold meals. Then browse the RSPB shop, which stocks a wide range of bird food, feeders, books, gifts and binoculars. The car park and toilets are fully accessible, including baby change facilities.
Join us for a guided walk to search for seasonal highlights. There's a busy programme of family activities during the school holidays or children can borrow our popular Explorer Backpacks to help them spot minibeasts or other secretive wildlife. Binocular hire is available.
