Standing in an acre of grounds overlooking Middleton Moor and a large freshwater pond visited by many birds, the cottage is just 1 mile from the A12 and the pretty village of Yoxford which has a general store and pub. It is just a few miles from the picturesque seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold, Thorpeness, Dunwich, Walberswick, Snape Maltings and the RSPB bird reserve at Minsmere for those who like bird watching. This is a wonderful area to visit at any time of year and the cottage is always cosy having full central heating and a wood burning stove. Accommodation is spacious and comfortably sleeps 4 plus there is a sofa bed which can sleep an additional 2 people. One double bedroom, 1 twin bedded room, 1 bathroom with separate shower unit. All linen and towels provided. High quality furnishing, well equipped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher. Colour TV, video, DVD player, hi-fi with CD player in lounge. Sorry but pets cannot be accepted. * If you require a short break (minimum 3 night's non peak season) then please contact us direct.

Cycle storage available. Beds, bedding, towels, sofas, all kitchen equipment etc are new within the last couple of years. Within 15 minutes drive of the Cottage you can hire bicycles from Darsham; there is golf at Halesworth, Thorpeness and near Dunwich; there is sea fishing on the coast; we are only 4 miles from the coast, only 3 miles from Minsmere the flagship RSPB site. Children welcome from age 5.

By Road:
From A12 at Yoxford take the B1122 signed Leiston. Go over level crossing and after just over half a mile you see 30 speed sign and Middleton Moor sign. Cottage is on the right, up driveway just past the dotted white lines on the road on your right (after the pond).

By Public Transport:
Darsham station is about 1.5 miles away. It is on the Ipswich to Lowestoft line. Ipswich is served by fast trains out of Liverpool Street. There are some through trains to Darsham from Liverpool Street. At station turn right along A12 and in Yoxford turn left on B1122.
