Nature reserve nearby. In the nearby market town of St Neots (approx 4 miles) there is swimming, bowling and a Museum where the local Tourist Information Centre can be found. Market day is a Thursday. There are play area's along the River Great Ouse where boat hire, restaurant, picnic areas and picturesque walks can be found. Children welcome from any age.

By Road:
Southoe is a small village situated close to the Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire border. Southoe is accessed directly from the A1 Great North Road. Heading south Southoe is approx 4.5 miles from the A14/A1 junction. Heading north Southoe is approx 4.7 miles from the A428/A1 junction. Southoe is signposted on the A1, upon entering the village remain on entry road until the St Leonards church is visible. New Found Place is the second building along from the church and clearly signed.
