Museum of Technology

The Old Pumping Station,
Cheddars Lane,

Based in a Victorian pumping station on the banks of the river Cam, Cambridge Museum of Technology brings our industrial heritage to life.

Marvel at the massive 19th century pumping engines and explore the world of early electronic - from radios to scientific instruments.

If you prefer doing to viewing, you can make your own souvenir in our print shop or get wet using our interactive water pumps.

We have a full events programme including regular steam days when we stoke up the boiler and run the engines. For information about steam days and other special events check out our website.
