
In 2007 VisitEngland launched the Official Partner Tourist Information Centre accrediation programme. In England there are over 500 Tourist Information Centres and half have gone through the accrediation scheme to show high levels of Quality, customer service, commitment and information for England as well as their own destination. Signs showing the Official Partner Logo on a marque plaque are given to those Tourist Information Centre's who are part of the scheme to show on their building along with the famous "i" logo.
