The Luton Hoo Walled Garden
The Luton Hoo Walled Garden was designed by Capability Brown in the 18th Century. The five acre octagonal walled garden was first established as a botanical garden, but later became the production centre for the estate's vegetable, fruit and cut flower needs. Having gone into decline during the latter half of the 20th Century, the garden, green houses and associated structures are now in the early stages of an extensive restoration project.
