Thorney Heritage Museum
The Heritage Museum is part of the Bedford Hall, which lies off Station Road. The Museum is run and maintained by the Thorney Society. Step inside and view the displays depicting the development of the village from its early monastic history to the present. The display demonstrates how the village developed as an agricultural estate under the Dukes of Bedford and their building of the "Model Village" It is brought up to date by the section on the effect of the various wars. Guided tours of the Abbey and Thorney village can also be arranged.

| Notes | Open from Easter Sunday until end of September. 2pm - 5pm. The Museum will also be open August Bank Holiday from 11am - 2pm. Arrangements can be made to open the Museum at other times at a small charge. Please call 01733 270908 for further information on opening times. |

From A47 Thorney bypass, take B1040 towards Thorney (station Road). Museum is in Tankyard on left before the traffic lights, at the left of the main building.
