Bell Wharf Beach
The location is close to Leigh's renowned cockle sheds where you can see the working fishing boats bring in their bounty, and then sample a taste of Southend too! Nearby there are also character pubs, a cafe and The Boatyard, a stylish restaurant that offers a true waterfront experience.
Dog Control Orders:
No dogs are allowed on Southend's beaches between 1st May and 30th September. Every person in charge of a dog (except guide dogs) who permits the dog to enter or remain on the beach during this period can be fined.
