British Larder Suffolk
At the British Larder Suffolk we are all about great-tasting, locally sourced seasonal food.
We believe in keeping things local. We support local producers and we source the vast majority of our produce from them. We like to use food in season, when it's at its very best.
We get our pork from Dingley Dell pigs just two miles down the road, our Sutton Hoo chickens are reared five miles away and our High House Farm apples and Butley oysters travel less than ten miles to reach us.
Our aim is to keep the flavour of our food as British as possible, without restricting the boundaries of our culinary creativity. Our menu changes regularly, so we can use the freshest and tastiest of local ingredients to create the very best dishes.
We have a bartering system at the British Larder Suffolk. If you have a glut of produce from your garden or allotment, or if you're a dab hand at foraging, bring in what you've got and we'll happily convert it into something equally as wonderful.
Our mouth-watering recipes are also available at www.BritishLarder.co.uk. We hope they'll inspire you to get creative in the kitchen. You can find a few examples below.
