With around 500 miles of coast, in Norfolk , Suffolk and Essex, gently, rolling countryside, woodlands and forests to explore, this is the place for walking and cycling. There are many paths and trails, as well as wonderful wildlife to see. Birdwatching is brilliant in East Anglia, and there are other outdoor activities such as fishing and golf, plus many family adventure parks. There are three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the north Norfolk Coast, Suffolk Coast and Heaths and Dedham Valley on the Suffolk-Essex border, a lowland landscape made famous worldwide by painters Constable and Gainsborough. There is also the unique Norfolk Broads, over 125 miles of navigable lock-free waterways and the only British National Park with a city in it.
