Educational Visits at Holkham Hall

Holkham Hall is a magnificent 18th C. Palladian mansion surrounded by parkland rich in wildlife. Home to seven generations of the Earls of Leicester, it is a living treasure house of artistic and architectural history. A farming exhibition explains how agriculture developed on the Holkham Estate - describing how the first Earl, 'Coke of Norfolk' revolutionised farming by promoting four-course crop rotation. The popular Bygones Collection displays domestic and agricultural memorabilia, depicting what life was like at the turn of the 20th C.
