West Stow - The First English Village
West Stow is a fine example of the Anglo-Saxon past, with reconstructed buildings built on an original settlement site. All schools watch a six minute DVD "In Search of the Anglo-Saxons", then explore the reconstructed village and see the objects in the museum with the help of an Interpretation Officer. 10.30am-14.30pm.
Admission buys you a Bury St Edmunds Heritage Ticket and free entry to both museums, year-round. Adults £7.30, Concessions £6.30, Children (5-16) £5.30, under 5s free, Family Ticket (3 to 9 members) £1 off per family member
