Maulden Woods is Forestry Commission woodland and is the largest ancient woodland on the Greensand Ridge, an area of high ground crossing Bedfordshire.

Maulden Woods adjoin the A6 five miles south of Bedford, just north of the roundabout with the A507 at Clophill.

There is plenty of free parking is available in the main car park for the woods, Deadman's Hill lay-by, grid reference TL073394
