This walk goes through the village of Wootton to Bedford’s Green Gateway and returns though the hamlet of Hall End.

Wootton is located 5 miles south west of Bedford. From Bedford take the A6 towards Ampthill, then turn onto the A421 towards the M1. Leave the A421 at the next roundabout and take the second exit onto Woburn Road. At the next roundabout, take the first exit to Wootton.
Wootton has a half hourly bus service from Bedford. The bus stops outside the Village Hall.

There is car parking behind the Village Hall on Church Road.

The walk starts and finishes at Wootton Village Hall.
