Kate Mosse is a number one international bestselling novelist, playwright and non-fiction writer. The author of six novels and short story collections, including the multimillion-selling Languedoc Trilogy, Labyrinth, Sepulchre and Citadel and Gothic fiction The Winter Ghosts and The Taxidermist’s Daughter. Kate is currently adapting The Taxidermist’s Daughter for the stage. Her books have been translated into thirty-seven languages and published in more than forty countries.

The Burning Chambers is the first in a new sequence of novels, a gripping story of love and betrayal moving from 16th century France to 19th century Southern Africa.

A champion of women's creativity, Kate is the Founder Director of the Women's Prize for Fiction, the largest annual celebration of women's writing in the world, sits on the Executive Committee of Women of the World and is a regular interviewer for theatre and fiction events.

Kate will be in conversation about her life and work with Kate Roma from BBC Radio Norfolk. Kate has worked as a broadcaster on local radio for over twelve years and currently works for The Churches Conservation Trust to preserve and tell the story of England’s community heritage.
