Details

If you like to build dens in the woods, sit by glittering lakes, watch the birds or just wander by foot then visit Hinchingbrooke Country Park for a fun day out. With 170 acres to explore the park has something to offer everyone. There is a network of hard surfaced paths suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs as well as a network of informal paths through the woods and across the meadows. The large main field is a fantastic sociable area to play football, fly a kite or have fun on the play equipment. There are plenty of benches around the woods and the lakes so you can sit for a while and watch the plentiful wildlife.

You can bring your own picnic, use one of our barbecue stands or enjoy fresh food in our onsite café. The café serves a range of hot and cold savoury snacks, a selection of homemade cakes, chocolate bars, hot and cold drinks and ice creams.

Various events are organised throughout the year, keep an eye on local press or the website for further information. If you prefer to organise your own family gathering then you may want to hire the Countryside Centre to give you peace of mind if it is wet. The Centre is also available for conferences, training or courses.
