The Maids Head Hotel is situated in the heart of Norwich in Tombland the historic quarter of the city. The Maids Head Hotel is the oldest hotel in the UK and is steeped in history.

Many historic characters have stayed at the hotel such as Queen Elizabeth I, Catherine of Aragon and Lord Nelson. The hotel was originally built for travelling bishops who were visiting Norwich Cathedral which is located next to the hotel.

Today the hotel is the jewel in Norwich's crown awarded 4 AA status in 2008 and awarded hotel of the year in the Norfolk region the hotel is the perfect place to stay when exploring Norwich, Norfolk and East Anglia.

By Road:
Approaching from London and Ipswich, follow signs to city centre. At inner ring road take A147 to North of city, passing Roman Catholic Cathedral. Follow signs for Cromer/Wroxham. At roundabout for A115 signposted Wroxham, turn right into Whitefriars signposted Law Courts Hotel 400 metres on right.

By Public Transport:
From Norwich - 1 mile. Cross over river up Prince of Wales road, opposite Anglia TV House turn right into Tombland Hotel at bottom of Tombland.
