Three storeys of character and coastal views, Stafford House is in prime position on Aldeburgh seafront. A truly unique family holiday home.

Opening Season

At 34 Lee Road bed and breakfast we offer a warm welcome and high quality accommodation. We go out of our way to make your stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible. We are ideally situated in the heart of Aldeburgh, in a quiet but central location, just a few minute’s walk to the high street and the sea.

All our rooms are comfortably and thoughtfully furnished to a high standard. All have flat screen TV/DVD players, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, hairdryer and plugs and shaver points where you need them. All towels and bed linen are Egyptian cotton.

Full English ad continental breakfasts are available, or we will try to meet any reasonable requests. Whenever possible we use local produce. Coffee is made from freshly ground beans and there is a selection of teas.

A selection of newspapers and magazines is available in the breakfast room.

Guests are welcome to take breakfast in our small private breakfast room or our delightful courtyard garden.

The high street has an abundance of independently owned charming shops, excellent restaurants and famous fish and chips. There is even a cinema which has screened films since 1924.

On the pebble beach leading to the sea there are fishing boats and huts where local fishermen sell their daily catch. There are lovely walks along the beach or on the footpath behind. Head north past Maggie Hambling’s ‘Scallop’ to Thorpeness or head south past the Martello Tower to Orfordness.
