The communal reception hall is well maintained and welcoming with carpeted stairs to the upper floors. Into the flat itself, there is a big bright living room with large bay window that has views onto The Buttlands. This room has a comfortable sofa, armchair, storage footstool and coffee table. There is a TV, DVD and radio/CD player and also a chaise longue in the bay window. The galley-style kitchen has everything for preparing meals at home – Smeg gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher – but with so many eateries virtually on the doorstep, the temptation to eat out may be too great!
Further on into the rest of the apartment: there is a king-size bedded room with bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe with further drawers, chair and original fireplace (not working). This room has an en suite with bath, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. This bedroom and bathroom are in a quiet position, to the rear of the property, both with windows overlooking gardens. The washing machine is located in a built-in cupboard in this bedroom.
