Bachelors Lodge is beautifully placed in idyllic Suffolk Countryside in the village of Hundon, two miles from the market town of Clare. 25 minutes from Bury St Edmunds, 35 minutes from Cambridge.
A very private and extremely stylish, elegant, recently renovated retreat offering peace and tranquillity . It has been described by guests as the best Air BnB they have ever stayed in.
A long private drive leads to the lovely garden that wraps around the house with a sun terrace for lazy lunches or drinks around the fire pit.
A modern house and decorated in a modern country style with great individuality.
It has two fabulous reception rooms including an elegant living room with French doors leading onto the sun terrace and a cosy snug with a wood burner. Both have ample sumptuous seating. There are two smart TV’s and many board games. Also a collection of toys for younger children.
There is a state of the art kitchen which leads into the dining area where guests can congregate around the long pendent lit table.
The kitchen leads to a larder cupboard and utility room.
We have one downstairs bedroom with a kingsize bed and French doors onto the terrace. We call this the garden room. It has a walk in shower room next door to it and is perfect for older guests or wheel chair users.
The stair case leads to four bedrooms each individually designed and gorgeous. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room and there is a family bathroom on this floor with large bath perfect for relaxing in.

Bedroom Four leads off from bedroom three and is a perfect secret room often favoured by children. This room has a single bed and a bed for a toddler.
Bedroom Five downstairs has a king size bed.
There is broad band at the property.
