Marvel at swans and ducks swimming towards you – and at sunset, unwind on the decked terrace gazing at picnic-boats lazily sailing home. Finish your day dining in the rustic boathouse onsite bar and bistro, with a massive range of real ales.
The tranquil riverside gardens are perfect to lounge among ornamental grasses, flowers and willows. Watch boats chug by, hire your own, or take a river cruise on one of the many trips among Britain’s largest protected wetlands. Magical waterways and lakes dotted with quaint unspoiled villages, windmills and old riverside pubs to explore. A paradise for nature lovers.
The famous 400-year-old Wroxham Bridge and village centre is just 5-minutes stroll. With pubs, restaurants, fish & chips, launderette, Roy’s shops, McDonald’s and railway station. The ideal Norfolk location for a tranquil holiday for children or the not so young. So much to see and do, and close to the beaches of Great Yarmouth and the medieval city of Norwich.
