Description
Mount Tabor is the first in a row of charming traditional brick and flint cottages, constructed c 1820 and originally inhabited by Coastguards and local fishermen, hence the name “Boatman’s Row.” The village is ideally situated on the coast in easy reach of the beaches and there are plenty of walks on the marsh, Peddar’s Way and country lanes as well as exceptional bird watching. The “Coast Hopper” ‘bus service passes through Stiffkey en route from King’s Lynn to Cromer. There is a welcoming pub in the village serving food and a very good village shop. Wells is only three miles away whilst Blakeney is five miles in the other direction. The market towns of Holt and Fakenham are also nearby.
