Four, one bedroom cottages in unspoilt Suffolk countryside offering relaxing holidays or romantic breaks in the tranquil surroundings of a Victorian Rectory.
Old Rectory Cottages
Situated on the border between Suffolk and Norfolk, lying in grounds of almost seven acres – surrounded by farmland on three sides, the grounds are a haven for wildlife. The four cottages provide the ideal holiday location if you want to leave behind the strains of town or city.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in all of our cottages.
The cottages have been sympathetically converted retaining the original features where possible. Individually decorated and furnished to a very high standard, they are as unique in character as they are diverse in style. Enjoy the King or Super King size bed and the luxury of the cotton towels & linen. The cottages have a 4-Star assessment by VisitEngland. In addition all four of our cottages have received the accolade of a coveted Gold Award – reserved for accommodation that provides exceptional quality in all areas, but in particular in service and hospitality.
We normally welcome you personally to The Old Rectory and show you around your cottage. We are here during your stay in the event that you wish to contact us. We have a good knowledge of the local area which enables us to recommend places or events that many visitors to the area do not get the opportunity to experience and our philosophy is to go the “extra mile” to ensure you have a really enjoyable holiday!
We offer short breaks between October and the end of April, but it is worthwhile telephoning us or looking at our website at other times if you are arranging a last minute break.
The village pub is a short stroll away from the cottages and there is plenty to tempt you out and about.
You can even combine all the freedom of a self catering holiday with the luxury of being pampered – we can prepare meals for you during your stay.
Cycle storage available.
